Design Workplace Training for Business Results

Workplace learning and development needs to be focused on outcomes to demonstrate value and return-on-investment. Explore ways to design, deliver and document a comprehensive employee development plan using “The Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning”.  This practical workshop is ideal for human resource, training, organizational development and department leaders challenged with designing workplace learning that is linked to business performance.

About the Presenters

Judy Ruhl is a trainer/consultant with the Management Development Department of FVTC and has a proven track record in helping leaders, regardless of industry, meet their full potential.  Her enthusiastic style keeps the training session moving while focusing on skill building. Her experience and flexibility ensure that each participant gains specific action items to get results. Particular areas of expertise include: Leadership (especially people skills), Train-the-Trainer, Myers-Briggs, Time Management, Generational Collaboration, Team Building and Strategic Planning.

While Judy specializes in training front-line supervisors and staff, she also works with all levels of leadership in organizations. She serves a variety of industries, including service, construction, manufacturing and law enforcement. She has been a production shift supervisor, a technical representative and a research chemist. For a global perspective, she's delivered and developed class exercises as part of a faculty exchange with a university in Russia. She has a B.S. in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. Andrea Jaeckels is the Training and Project Coordinator with AIA Corporation, a promotional products distributor located in Neenah, WI. Andrea is an engaging trainer who is always looking for ways to ensure her attendees reach their full potential.  Andrea’s experience is in the areas of content creation and delivery, Adobe Captivate and e-Learning creation.  She has a strong interest in the areas of adult learning principles and learning transfer.
