I am honored and feel privileged to assume the role of President of the Northeastern Wisconsin Association for Talent Development (N.E.W ATD.) I want to thank my colleagues on the board and my predecessor, Michelle Tyo-Johnson, for their leadership and outstanding contributions to the chapter. I am inspired by their commitment to the chapter and how they continued to bring us together to share ideas, learn from dynamic presenters, and connect virtually with each other amid the last few years navigating the pandemic.
I look forward to fulfilling the mission of N.E.W. ATD, which is to “empower learning professionals to unleash talent that drives performance.” In 2022, we will support that mission by providing you with opportunities to develop both personally and professionally and will offer events that allow us to connect and share in a variety of ways (in-person, virtually, and hybrid) to accommodate what works best for you. We will continue to bring in both local and national learning professionals who inspire new, innovative ideas and methods.
N.E.W. ATD presents a forum to network with professionals engaged in learning and development roles, and as someone who has been a part of the learning field for the past twenty years, I am honored to be a part of this group of talented professionals. Membership is open to all who are interested in or have responsibilities aligned with talent development, learning and development, instructional design, performance improvement, and/or human resource development.
We invite you into our chapter and welcome the chance to connect with you. If you have ideas, insights, questions, or concerns, please send me a note.
It is my pleasure to serve you as the N.E.W. ATD Board President.
Sarah Nanna
