Enhancing Your Coaching Culture:  a dynamic workshop to help you implement an organizational coaching strategy

Nicole Pulito, PhD, PCC Gulan Pulito Coaching & Consulting & ICF Wisconsin

Kerry Scherer, SECURA Insurance, Performance Development

While the field of professional coaching has grown significantly over the last 20 years, most organizations struggle to build cultures that facilitate ongoing, naturally occurring coaching conversations. In order to create such a culture, it takes more than simply training leaders how to coach. It requires creating the conditions that foster trust, openness and a learning mindset.

Research has demonstrated that such organizations who have invested in creating coaching cultures have higher levels of:

  • Employee Engagement
  • Employee Relations
  • Team Functioning
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Change Management Success
  • Productivity

During this highly interactive and dynamic workshop, you will engage in discussions about how to create a coaching culture, learn a case study for how SECURA Insurance (Appleton, WI) approached strengthening their coaching culture, and receive practical tips, tools and resources that will dramatically improve your ability to enhance your coaching culture and implement an organizational coaching strategy.

At the conclusion, participants will:

·         Understand the benefits and value coaching can offer you and your organization
·         Differentiate between coaching and other leadership approaches such as mentoring, managing, and empowering and know when to leverage each
·         Be equipped with a simple, effective coaching approach to leverage yourself and instill within your organization
·         Learn the cultural enablers that are critical to establish the learning environment necessary for a coaching culture to exist
·         Understand best practices for instilling coaching and measuring impact
·         Learn from a case study at SECURA Insurance, including successes and challenges
