Multi-Rater Feedback "360"

Are you prepared to implement multi-rater feedback in your organization?  Can you explain the issues that 360 degree feedback raises and propose solutions?

Multi-rater feedback or 360 degree feedback calls for input from subordinates, peers and supervisors.  It contrasts with traditional performance appraisal in which employees are reviewed only by their managers.  Studies suggest that 1/3 of U.S. companies use some type of multi-source feedback.

On February 14, Gail Wise and Tom Wiltzius will explain how multi-rater feedback “360” can be a powerful tool for both individual and organizational development when used well.  They will also explain how it can create confusion and chip away at teamwork and trust when used poorly.

Learn about design and implementation issues that are critical in ensuring that 360 is used strategically and effectively for development.  Check out the steps involved in locally creating and implementing a custom, world-class 360 called enVision.360.  Hear Gail and Tom tell their story of how they created this instrument for use across multiple organizations.  Participate in interactive exercises that stimulate thinking on the choices and options involved in creating a robust 360 tool.

About Gail Wise and Tom Wiltzius

Gail Wise is Managing Principal of Organizational Development Partners, LLC and a partner in Ampersand Leadership Group - firms devoted to assessing and fostering individual and organizational growth Gail focuses on both individual and organization-wide interventions, including design and implementation of performance and succession management processes, competency modeling, assessment and feedback, and organizational surveys.  She has authored a variety of management and executive development programs, and has published in the areas of multi-rater feedback, quality, and recruiting.
Gail earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of
Georgia, with a dissertation focusing on 360˚ feedback systems.

Tom Wiltzius is the President and an Executive Consultant with Wiltzius Associates, LLC.  Tom is a seasoned business professional with extensive successes in business start-up, growth, maintenance, and recovery conditions.  A former CEO himself, Tom has also served as an informal advisor, member of boards of directors, and coach to business leaders for over two decades, assisting leaders to identify effective strategies and methods to meet organizational business, professional and personal objectives.

Tom is certified in numerous forms of behavioral assessment tools including the HOGAN, TMP, FIRO-B, SII, CPI, 16PF, Birkman First Look, and the ICS Survey.
