Program Description

We all know that there are a lot of elements that go into designing e-learning content that goes beyond finding the best way to disseminate the needed information – visual appeal, voice over, brand guidelines, technology limitations, the list can go on. But are you also considering how to creating content that is accessible and inclusive? This may seems like a daunting addition to the list of design responsibilities. Cara’s presentation is a perfect primer for how to think critically when designing content. Learn more about writing content for screen readers, considering color palettes for visual limitations, using descriptive links and alt text in images, and how to write content for all abilities. Additional topical resources and checklists will be shared so you can start reviewing your own content and having these conversations with your organization.
