Understand the factors that influence training transfer to on-the-job performance.

Effective training transfer goes beyond design and delivery. In this session, we will discuss these research-based factors known to drive training transfer:

How does the program design help learners gain new knowledge and give them a path to better performance?

What about the learner's mindset? Are they confident and driven to use what they learned?

Will the learner's work environment provide support and time to apply the new knowledge right away?

Training that makes a long-term impact considers all these factors.

As attendees of this session, you will learn to recognize the factors that influence training transfer and will have a chance to assess one of your programs. Attendees will also receive a free assessment tool that they can use with their teams.

In this session, you will:

● Learn how to recognize factors that influence training transfer.

● Assess one or your programs against the factors that drive training transfer.

● Discuss tactics you can use to increase training transfer.
