Most people agree that reaching an agreement by consensus builds trust and creates ownership and commitment. Too often, though, the loudest voice seems to get the vote. Join Terra L. Fletcher, communication expert and experienced meeting facilitator, as she explains effective consensus-building techniques. By the end of this session, you’ll be able to identify the right consensus-building process to use in various situations and know how to transform your organization through strategic conversations and interest-based principled negotiation. We’ll practice several consensus-building techniques in a safe, low-stakes environment so you can use them in the real world.
